Medals Embossed with Braille

The gold, silver and bronze medals that will be awarded at the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games were crafted by the Royal Canadian Mint. They contain metals mined from three different countries fused together using mokume-gane and for the first time they are embossed with Braille.

Braille is used to identify TORONTO 2015 – a reflection of TO2015’s commitment to accessibility.
