“As a creator, inspiration comes from everywhere. Whenever I create a scent, it’s always about the art and discovery of where the ingredients take you along the way.”
– Olivier Creed, Sixth-Generation Master Perfumer
A legacy that spans centuries
Founded in London in 1760 and based outside of Paris today, The House of Creed has been handcrafting uncommon fragrances for royal houses and discerning patrons since its very first commission: a bottle of Royal English Leather originally used to scent the gloves of King George III.
Traditional Perfuming Methods
Today, each fragrance is weighed, mixed, macerated and filtered all by hand in the highest tradition of the House's founder, James Creed. Relying on an ancient infusion technique to capture the raw and rare materials of each perfume, sixth generation and master perfumer Olivier Creed and his son, Erwin Creed, carry on the painstaking art of Creed’s perfume making—a timeless, yet modern take on history, bottled.
